Overview

Easy Answers for Mobile is an App for both Apple iOS and Android phone and tablet devices. The Mobile App can be used with the 4.5 release of the AO Platform and Easy Answers solutions; however, to benefit from the new functionality in the Mobile App 2.0 release, the 5.0 release of the AO Platform and Easy Answers is required.


New in AO Easy Answers for Mobile 2.0

The following are the new and updated features of the Easy Answers for Mobile App.

  • Visualizations - 20+ new visualizations, including Table, Data View, and Charts, including Column/Bar (single and grouped), Pie/Semi Pie/Donut/Semi Donut, Line/Area (single and grouped), Scatter/Bubble, Radar, Radial Bar, Funnel, Treemap, Sankey, Heatmap, Boxplot, and Word Cloud. See Visualizations.

    • Chart Tools - show data from chart visualizations in Table or select from alternative Charts.

    • Sorting - table columns in tabular results can be sorted ascending/descending.

    • Links - values in Table Columns can show links which, upon clicking, will show a Data View with the record details of the linked item.

  • Verified Questions - new ability to verify questions (requires granted permissions). See Using Question Verification.

    • Faster Question Interpretation - auto-association with semantic templates for faster responses.

  • Spell-Checking and Correction - questions entered will be automatically spell-checked and corrected if needed.

  • AI Reasoning - transparent insight into how the AI interprets questions. See Conversing with Your Data.

  • Notifications - precise progress bar during question interpretation.

  • Log Files - for when things go wrong. View and download from categories, including: Errors, Warnings, Notifications, Information, and API. See Log History.


Documentation


Deprecations/Removals

  • The following GenAI/Large Language Models have been removed:

    • OpenAI - All LLMs prior to 5.x models. The AO Platform is now using OpenAI 5.x/6.x models.

  • The AO Knowledge Assistant (custom GPT), available from the Easy Answers Home page, has been removed. OpenAI has announced the sunset of Custom GPTs as of 11 December 2026. Using AI to extract summaries of the AO product documentation can be done from any GenAI system at this point.


Known Issues/Limitations

  • Because of the upgraded OpenAI LLMs in the AO Platform's 5.0 release, some Easy Answers questions that resolve using JOIN between multiple MSOs will generate an AI Response table for the retrieved data instead of one or more auto-curated visualizations (such as regular tables, charts, and map apps). We are working to address this issue in a 5.0 patch release as soon as possible.
